Cutts started training American karate in his late teens, and after testing himself with some friends decided he needed to become better rounded. He met his now business partner, UFC veteran Johnny Bedford, and started his path in MMA. Cutts bought into Fitness Fight Factory in Colleyville, TX. Legacy Fighting Alliance 40 – Jeremy “Spooner” Spoon

By Lance Edwards   Jeremy Spoon (21-3) is ranked as Oklahoma’s top featherweight fighter.  Over the past decade, Spoon has racked up only three losses, two of which were by decision including a decision loss to Bellator’s former featherweight champion, Daniel Strauss (25-8) back in 2012. Spoon is riding a five-fight winning streak but his opponent at LFA 40, Damon Jackson (14-2-1) is no slouch. Spoon himself has some rough edges, but by getting involved in MMA he straightened his life out. “I went to college for wrestling and ended up dropping out. By Lance Edwards   Hailey Cowan made her LFA debut at LFA 33, in a postlim amateur fight. At LFA 40, she makes her professional debut against another debut fighter, Victoria Leonardo. It’s unusual to see a debut professional fight on the main card of a televised promotion, but with Cowan it’s for good reason. As an amateur, Cowan had three fights, all of which were wins. She brings a high level of athleticism to the cage and comes from a high level competitive background in another sport. “I started gymnastics at the age of five, and started competing by my sixth birthday. By eight, I was on the Junior Olympic Team. I was at Baylor on the acrobatics and tumbling inaugural team and signed their first scholarship for it.…

This is the one we wanted though, fighting Kevin. We’ve been waiting. After he won the title, he had the call up to the UFC but had broken his hand. I want to be the one who is called up after this fight.” It’s been a year since Aguilar took Justin Rader (7-3) to a decision victory. Some fighters feel they don’t perform so well after as lay off, whereas others say that being out of fight camp they have the opportunity to improve skills…
